DTC P0914:
Shift Actuator Motor Rotating Pulse Sensor Signal Circuit Malfunction

Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
-
Change the shift lever to D position, then operate the shift lever between + and − positions.
-
Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect the shift actuator motor 6P connector.
-
Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Check for DTCs with the HDS.
-
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect the change actuator subharness B 8P connector.
-
Check for continuity between shift actuator motor 6P connector terminal No. 5 and body ground.

Repair a short to ground in the wire of the change actuator subharness B.■

Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
