DTC Troubleshooting: B1000

Measure voltage between the under-dash fuse/relay box connector Q (16P) No. 6 terminal and body ground.

YES

|
Repair a short to power in the wire between the under-dash fuse/relay box connector and the affected control unit.■
|

NO
|
-
|
|
-
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
-
Reconnect the under-dash fuse/relay box connector Q (16P) and the gauge control module (tach) connector (36P).
-
Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
-
Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
-
Wait for 6 seconds.

Are DTCs B1000, B1008, B1011, and B1032 all indicated?

YES
|
-
|
Replace the gauge control module (tach).■
|
|
NO
|
-
|
|
-
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
-
Reconnect the heater control unit/climate control unit 32P connector.
-
Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
-
Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
-
Wait for 6 seconds.
|
Are DTCs B1000, B1008, B1011, and B1032 all indicated?

YES
|
-
|
Replace the
heater control unit
/
climate control unit
.■

NO
|
-
|
|
-
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
-
Reconnect the immobilizer-keyless control unit 7P connector.
-
Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
-
Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
-
Wait for 6 seconds.
|
Are DTCs B1000, B1008, B1011, and B1032 all indicated?

YES
|
-
|
Replace the immobilizer-keyless control unit.■
|
|
NO
|
-
|
Replace the Hands Free Telephone control unit.■
|
