DTC 28:
Longitude Acceleration Sensor
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
Substitute a known-good yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor.
Do the VSA sensor neutral position memorization.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
Clear the DTC with the HDS.
Test-drive the vehicle. Drive the vehicle at 19 mph (30 km/h) or more, and go a distance of more than 0.2 mile.
Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 28 indicated?
YES

Check for loose terminals in the VSA modulator-control unit 46P connector. Check for a loose connection at G202.
If necessary, substitute a known-good VSA modulator-control unit
and retest.■
NO

Replace the original yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor.
