DTC Troubleshooting: P0882 (139-3)

DTC P0882:
TCM Power Input Voltage Lower than ECM Power Input Signal
NOTE: Before troubleshooting, check for Fuel and Emissions systems DTCs. If any DTCs are indicated, troubleshoot the indicated DTCs first.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

Is DTC P0882 indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 7 .
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Disconnect the clutch actuator subharness 10P connector.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Measure the voltage between clutch actuator subharness 10P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES -
Remove the clutch actuator assembly; R18A2 engine model, L13Z1 engine model, then check for the clutch actuator subharness, if the wire harness is OK, substitute a known-good TCM, then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good TCM, replace the original TCM; R18A2 engine model, L13Z1 engine model. ■
