M/T Mainshaft Disassembly
NOTE: Refer to the Exploded View in the Mainshaft Reassembly, as need removing components except pressed into the mainshaft.
  1. Support 5th gear (A) on steel blocks, and press the mainshaft out of the 5th/6th synchro hub (B), 6th gear (C) and ball bearing (D). Use of a jaw-type puller can damage the gear teeth.
