Steering Wheel Downshift (-) Switch Circuit Troubleshooting
  1. Check for continuity between steering wheel downshift (−) switch connector terminals while pressing the switch and when the switch is released.
Is there continuity while pressing the switch and no continuity when the switch released?
YES -
Replace the steering switch harness. ■
NO -
Replace the steering wheel downshift (−) switch.
  1. Remove the cable reel.
