DTC Troubleshooting: B1168
  1. Check for continuity between the ECM connector No. 2 (58P) No. 47 and No. 48 terminals and body ground individually.
Are there continuity?
YES -
Update the ECM if it does not have the latest software , or substitute a known-good ECM , and recheck. If the indication goes away, replace the original ECM. If the DTC is still present, replace the gauge control module. ■
NO -
Repair an open in the wire.■
