DTC Troubleshooting: P2017 (178)
Measure voltage between IMRC valve position sensor 3P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 3.
Is there about 5 V?
YES

Turn the ignition switch OFF, and wait 1 minute.
Remove the jumper wire from the IMRC valve position sensor 3P connector.
Disconnect ECM connector No. 1 (96P).
