Fuel Filter Water Level Switch Test
  1. Do the gauge drive circuit check.
    • If the fuel gauge indicator sweeps from the minimum to maximum position and then returns to minimum the gauge is OK. Go to Step 2 .
    • If the fuel gauge indicator does not sweep correctly, replace the gauge control module (tach). and retest.
  1. Bleed the fuel filter water.
  1. Start the engine, then check the engine condition.
    • If the engine condition is OK, go to Step 4 .
    • If the engine condition is not OK, do the symptom troubleshooting.
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  1. Disconnect the fuel filter water level switch 2P connector (A).
