F-CAN Circuit Troubleshooting
  1. Measure resistance between ECM connector No. 2 terminals No. 47 and No. 48.
Is there about 2.34−2.86 KΩ?
YES -
Go to Step 23 .
NO -
Substitute a known-good gauge control module (tach). If the HDS communicate with the ECM, replace the original gauge control module (tach). ■
  1. Disconnect the gauge control module (tach) 36P connector.
  1. Reconnect the VSA modulator-control unit 46P connector.
