Water Pump Replacement
  1. Remove the alternator.
  1. Remove the idler pulley base.
  1. Remove the drive belt auto-tensioner.
  1. Drain the engine coolant.
  1. Remove the seven bolts securing the water pump, then remove the water pump (A) from under side.
  1. Inspect and clean the O-ring groove and mating surface with the water passage.
  1. Install the water pump with new O-ring (B) in the reverse order of removal.
  1. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
  1. Install the drive belt auto-tensioner.
  1. Install the idler pulley base.
  1. Install the alternator.
  1. Refill the expansion tank with engine coolant, and bleed air from the cooling system with the heater valve open.
