DTC Troubleshooting: B1178
DTC B1178:
 F-CAN Communication Line Error
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTCs B1168, B1170, B1178, B1183, and/or B1187 indicated?
YES -
Go to the indicated DTCs troubleshooting.
NO -
Intermittent failure, the F-CAN communication line is OK at this time. Check for worn or shorted wires.■
