M/T Shift Fork Clearance Inspection

Measure the thickness of the shift fork fingers.

If the thickness is not within the standard, replace the shift fork.

If the thickness is within the standard, replace the synchro sleeve.

1st/2nd shift fork:

|
|
6.7−6.9 mm (0.26−0.27 in.)
|
|
|
3rd/4th, 5th/6th shift fork:
|
|
|
7.4−7.6 mm (0.29−0.30 in.)
|
|
|
