VSA DTC Troubleshooting: 85
DTC 85:
 Steering Angle Sensor
  1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  1. Check the DTCs with the HDS.
Is another DTC indicated?
YES -
Do the appropriate troubleshooting for the DTC.■
NO -
Check the tyre pressure, and wheel alignment to the proper specifications. If those are OK, go to Step 3 .
  1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF, then turn it ON (II).
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 72 indicated?
YES -
Do the troubleshooting for DTC 72. ■
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■
