DTC Troubleshooting: B1187
  1. Check for continuity between the SRS unit connector A (28P) No. 11 and No. 12 terminals and body ground individually.
Are there continuity?
YES -
Substitute a known-good SRS unit, and recheck. If the indication goes away, replace the original SRS unit. If the DTC is still present, replace the gauge control module (tach). ■
NO -
Repair an open in the wire.■
