Automatic Lighting/Rain Sensor Input Test

Remove the cover (A) and the automatic lighting/rain sensor (B).

Disconnect the 5P connector (C) from the automatic lighting/rain sensor.

Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
-
With the connector still disconnected, make these input tests at the connector.
-
If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
-
If all the input tests prove OK, replace the automatic lighting/rain sensor.

Under all conditions (Disconnect the under-dash fuse/relay box connector Q (16P))
|
Check for continuity between the No. 5 terminal and No. 6 terminal of the under-dash fuse/relay box connector Q (16P): There should be continuity.
