Steering Column Removal and Installation
  1. Install the steering joint cover (A).
  1. Install the steering wheel.
  1. Install the column covers.
  1. Install the driver's dashboard lower cover.
  1. Connect the negative battery cable.
    • Turn the ignition switch ON (II); the SRS indicator should come on for about 6 seconds and then go off.
    • Set the clock.
    • Verify cruise control, audio remote, navigation guide (if equipped) and turn signal canceling for proper operation.
    • Make sure the steering wheel is centered.
