Rear Brake Pad Inspection and Replacement
  1. Apply a thin coat of Molykote M77 grease to the areas indicated by the arrows. Wipe excess grease off the brake pads. Contaminated brake discs or brake pads reduce stopping ability. Keep grease off the brake discs and brake pads.
  1. Install the brake pads correctly. If you are reusing the pads, always reinstall the brake pads in their original positions to prevent a momentary loss of braking efficiency.
    NOTE:
    • Do not hold the sticky shim when installing the brake pad.
    • Keep any contaminant off the sticky shim.
