Clutch Actuator

Function

The Clutch Actuator is controlled by the TCM and is integrated in one unit with the TCM.
The Clutch Actuator consists of the clutch actuator motor section, gear/link mechanical section, and the master cylinder section.
Through the control signals from the TCM, the clutch actuator motor operates, then the rotational movement is converted to linear movement through the link mechanism, and the master cylinder is operated. Like the conventional manual transmission, the hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder operates the sleeve cylinder.
In the gear/link mechanical part, by using worm gear and wheel gear, retaining the push rod position is possible, and by detecting the position by the stroke sensor, realizing accurate clutch operation.
