DTC Troubleshooting: U0155
DTC U0155:
 Parking and Back-up Sensor Control Unit Lost Communication with Gauge Control Module (VSP Message)
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
  1. Wait for at least 6 seconds.
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC U0155 indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 5 .
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.■
  1. From the BODY ELECTRICAL system select menu, select UNIT INFORMATION, and then select CONNECTED UNIT.
Is the gauge control module detected?
YES -
Replace the parking and back-up sensor control unit.■
NO -
Go to Step 6 .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Disconnect the gauge control module (tach) 36P connector.
  1. Disconnect the parking and back-up sensor 16P connector.
  1. Check for continuity between parking and back-up sensor control unit 16P connector terminal No. 7 and gauge control module (tach) 36P connector terminal No. 21.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Replace the parking and back-up sensor control unit.■
NO -
An open in the wire between the gauge control module and the parking and back-up sensor control unit.■
