Fails emission test (MIL works OK, no DTCs set)
Diagnostic procedure
  1. Without DPF system: Inspect the catalytic converter.
  2. With DPF system: Inspect the warm up catalytic converter.
Also check for
  • Contaminated fuel
  • Low compression
  • Slipped/broken timing belt
