Engine will not start (MIL works OK, no DTCs set)
Diagnostic procedure
  1. Test the battery.
  2. Test the starter.
  3. Check the fuel pressure.
  4. Troubleshoot the fuel pump circuit.
  5. Check for i-SHIFT system DTCs.
  6. Check for symptoms for the i-SHIFT system.
  7. Troubleshoot the brake pedal position switch signal circuit.
  8. Test the starter.
Also check for
  • Low compression
  • No ignition spark
  • Intake vacuum leaks
  • Locked up engine
  • Broken cam chain
  • Fuel contamination
  • Shift lever is not in neutral position
  • Brake pedal depressing is weak
  • Faulty i-SHIFT system
