Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 2703
DTC 2703:
 Aircon Diag
NOTE:
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).
  1. Check the System Links.
Is the Aircon icon red?
YES -
Go to Step 5 .
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Disconnect navigation unit connector B (32P).
  1. Connect the navigation unit connector B (32P) terminals No. 4, No. 20, and No. 21 with a jumper wires.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
If the HEAT/VENT both indicator solid with the remaining icons blinking?
YES -
NO -
Go to Step 10 .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then disconnect the jumper wire.
  1. Disconnect climate control unit 32P connecter.
  1. Connect the climate control unit 32P connector terminals No. 5, No. 6, and No. 21 with a jumper wire.
  1. Check for continuity between navigation unit connector B (32P) terminals No. 4, No. 20, and No. 21 body ground individually.
Are there continuity?
YES -
Go to Step 14 .
NO -
Repair open in the wire(s) between the navigation control unit and the climate control unit.■
  1. Disconnect the jumper wire.
  1. Check for continuity between navigation unit connector B (32P) terminals No. 4, No. 20, and No. 21 body ground individually.
Are there continuity?
YES -
Repair short to body ground in the wire(s) between the navigation control unit and the climate control unit.■
NO -
Go to Step 16 .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Measure the voltage between navigation unit connector B (32P) terminals No. 4, No. 20, and No. 21 body ground individually.
Is there voltage above 0.2 V?
YES -
Repair short to power in the wire(s) between the navigation control unit and the climate control unit.■
NO -
Go to Step 18 .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Check for continuity between the terminal of navigation unit connector B (32P) according to the table.

    To terminals
    B4 (ORN)
    B20 (PUR), B21 (BRN)
    B20 (PUR)
    B21 (BRN)

Is there continuity?
YES -
Repair short in the wire(s) between the navigation control unit and climate control unit.■
NO -
