Rear Center Console Removal/Installation

NOTE:
  • When removing components, use the trim tools or equivalent.
  • Take care not to scratch the front seat, dashboard, and related parts.
  1. Slide both front seats forward fully.
  1. Remove the caps (A) and the bolts.
  1. Slide both front seats reward fully.

  1. Remove the caps (A) and the bolts.

  1. Gently pull out on the front edge of the rear center console (A) to detach the clips (B, C), and release the hooks (D).

  1. Life up the rear of the rear center console (A), and disconnect the cigarette lighter connector (B), the rear center console subharness connectors (C) and the seat heater connectors (D) (for some models), then remove the console.
  1. Install the rear center console in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Make sure the cigarette lighter connector, the rear center console subharness connectors and the seat heater connectors (for some models) are plugged in properly.
    • If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
