Clutch Pedal, Clutch Pedal Position Switch A, and Clutch Pedal Position Switch B Adjustment

NOTE:
  1. Disconnect the clutch pedal position switch A and the clutch pedal position switch B connectors.
  1. Loosen the clutch pedal position switch B locknut (A), and back off the clutch pedal position switch B until it no longer touches the clutch pedal (C).
  1. Loosen the clutch pushrod locknut (D), and turn the pushrod (E) in or out to get the specified height (F), and the stroke (G) at the clutch pedal.

    155.2 mm (6.11 in.)
    RHD model:
    148.7 mm (5.85 in.)

    Clutch Pedal Stroke:
    125−135 mm (4.92−5.31 in.)


  1. Tighten the clutch pushrod locknut (A).
  1. With the clutch pedal released, turn in clutch pedal position switch B until it contacts the clutch pedal.
  1. Turn in clutch pedal position switch B an additional 3/4 to 1 turn.
  1. While holding clutch pedal position switch B, tighten the locknut (C).

  1. Loosen the clutch pedal position switch A locknut (B).
  1. Adjust the position of clutch pedal position switch A. Press the clutch pedal fully to the floor, then release the clutch pedal (C) and hold it at the height, so that the switch should be ON/OFF at clutch pedal position switch A ON/OFF height.

    35.5−38.5 mm (1.40−1.52 in.)

  1. While holding clutch pedal position switch A, tighten the locknut.
  1. Check the clutch operation.
  1. Connect the clutch pedal position switch A and the clutch pedal position switch B connectors, then check the cruise control and the shift indicator lamp operation.
