F-CAN Malfunction (TCM Lost Communication with ECM)

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
-
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
-
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
-
Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■

-
Check for DTCs with the HDS.
|
Are DTC U0103, U0155, and U1261 indicated?
|
-
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
-
Jump the SCS line with the HDS.
-
Disconnect ECM connector A (44P) (R18A2 engine model) or ECM connector A (49P) (L13Z1 engine model).
-
Disconnect the clutch actuator subharness 10P connector from the engine compartment wire harness.
-
Check for continuity between ECM connector A (44P) terminal No. 36 (No. 37)

(R18A2 engine model) or ECM connector A (49P) terminal No. 3 (No. 4)
*
(L13Z1 engine model) and clutch actuator subharness 10P connector terminal No. 7 (No. 6)

Repair an open in the wire between the clutch actuator subharness 10P connector and the ECM (A36 (A37)

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
-
Wait for 30 seconds.
-
Jump the SCS line with the HDS.
-
Disconnect ECM connector A (44P) (R18A2 engine model) or ECM connector A (49P) (L13Z1 engine model).
-
Disconnect the clutch actuator subharness 10P connector from the engine compartment wire harness.
