Disconnect the fuel tank unit 4P connector (A), the quick-connect fittings (B), and the hose (C), then drain the fuel tank.

Raise the vehicle on a lift.

Remove the cover (D), the heat shield (E), and the fuel tank protector (F).

Disconnect the hoses (G). Slide back the clamps, then twist the hoses as you pull to avoid damaging them.

Place a jack or other support under the tank (H).

Remove the strap bolts and the straps (I).

Remove the fuel tank.

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Disconnect the fuel tank unit 4P connector (A), the quick-connect fittings (B), and the hose (C), then drain the fuel tank.
