Engine Oil Pan Removal

  1. If the engine is already out of the vehicle, go to Step 8 .
  1. Remove the engine undercover.

  1. Remove the dipstick, and remove the harness clamp (A), then remove the dipstick tube (B).

  1. Remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor cover (A), then disconnect the CKP sensor connector (B).

  1. Remove the clutch cover (A), and transmission mounting bolts (B).

  1. Disconnect the oil level sensor subharness connector.
  1. Remove the bolts securing the oil pan.

  1. Using a flat blade screwdriver, separate the oil pan from the block in the places shown.
  1. Remove the oil pan.
