Radiator and Fan Replacement

  1. Remove the air intake duct.

  1. Remove the air intake duct bracket.

  1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor 2 connector (A).
  1. Remove the A/C compressor clutch connector (B), the harness clamp (C), and the harness from the A/C condenser fan shroud.

  1. With i-SHIFT: Remove the clutch reservoir tank, and remove the reservoir tube from the clips.

  1. Disconnect the fan motor connectors (A), and remove the harness clamps (B).
  1. Remove the two bolts (C) securing the condenser fan shroud, then remove the condenser fan shroud assembly.
  1. Remove the two bolts (D) securing the radiator fan shroud, then remove the radiator fan shroud assembly.

  1. Disconnect the upper radiator hose (A) and the lower radiator hose (B).

  1. Remove the reservoir tank hose (A) and harness clamp (B).
  1. Remove the two bolts (C) securing the radiator cap base, then remove the radiator upper brackets (D).

  1. Pull up the radiator assembly (A) and remove the lower cushions (B).

  1. Remove the radiator cap (A), radiator cap base (B), ECT sensor 2 (C), and drain plug (D).
  1. Reassemble the radiator with new O-rings (E).
  1. Install the radiator and fan shroud assemblies in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the upper and lower cushions are set securely.
