Steering Wheel Upshift (+) Switch Replacement
SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, and the precautions and procedures before performing repair or service.
  1. Remove steering wheel upshift (+) switch and downshift (−) switch connectors from the connector holder, and disconnect the connectors.
  1. Remove the screws (A) securing the steering wheel upshift (+) switch and downshift (−) switch.
  1. Remove the screws (B) and the bolt (C) securing the steering wheel rear cover (D), then remove the steering wheel rear cover.
  1. Remove the steering wheel upshift (+) switch (E) from the rear cover.
  1. Install the new steering wheel upshift (+) switch in the steering wheel rear cover.
  1. Install the steering wheel rear cover, and secure the rear cover with the screws.
  1. Secure the steering wheel upshift (+) switch and downshift (−) switch with the screws.
  1. Connect the steering wheel upshift (+) switch and downshift (−) switch connector, and install the connectors in the connector holder.
