i-SHIFT Gear Shift Control Module Removal/Installation
NOTE: LHD model is shown, RHD model is similar.
  1. Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the gear shift control model (B) from the change lever base (C).
    NOTE: If the gear shift control model needs to be replaced, remove the shift lever knob (D) from the gear shift control modul.
  1. Install the gear shift control module to the change lever base (A), then connect the connector (B).
    NOTE:
    • Tighten the bolts after making the two locating pins (C) of the gear shift control module and holes (D) at the change lever base are coincide.
    • Installation position is different between LHD model and RHD model.
    • If the gear shift control module was replaced, install the shift lever knob (E) to the gear shift control module (F) (turn the shift lever knob clockwise for 11 to 13 times, and make sure the shift pattern on the knob is at the right place).
  1. Test-drive the vehicle.
