Remove the air cleaner assembly.

Remove the clutch line bracket and the slave cylinder.

Carefully remove the shift cable, select cable, and cable bracket together to avoid bending the cables.

Disconnect the reverse lockout solenoid connector.

Remove the three bolts (A) and reverse lockout solenoid (B).

Remove the roller (A), the select lock return spring (C), and select lock cam B.

Install the components in the reverse order of removal.

Clean any dirt and oil from the sealing surface. Apply liquid gasket, P/N 08C70-K234M, 08C70-K0334M or 08C70-X0331S, evenly to the sealing surface.

NOTE: Do not install components if 5 minutes or more have passed after applying the liquid gasket. Instead, remove the old residue and reapply the liquid gasket.

Install the reverse lockout solenoid.

Connect the reverse lockout solenoid connector.

Install the cable bracket, select cable, and shift cable.

Install the clutch line bracket and the slave cylinder.

Install the air cleaner assembly.
