DTC Troubleshooting: B1238 (K)
DTC B1238 or DTC indicator K:
 A Problem in the Passenger's Air Mix Control Linkage, Door, or Motor
  1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and then ON (II).
  1. Check for DTCs.
Is DTC M and AUTO indicated?
YES -
NO -
Go to Step 5 .
  1. Check for DTCs.
Is DTC B1238 or K indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 6 .
NO -
Intermittent failure.■
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  1. Check the passenger's air mix control linkage and door for smooth movement.
Is the linkage and door OK?
YES -
NO -
Repair the passenger's air mix control linkage and door.■
