DTC P2454:
DPF Differential Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Check the DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF) DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR in the DATA LIST with the HDS.

Is about 0.35 V or less indicated?
|

YES
|

NO

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the DPF differential pressure sensor and the ECM.■
|

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect the DPF differential pressure sensor 3P connector.
-
Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Check the DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF) DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR in the DATA LIST with the HDS.

Is about 0.35 V or less indicated?
|

Turn the ignition switch OFF, and wait 2 minutes.
-
Disconnect ECM connector No. 1 (96P).
-
Check for continuity between DPF differential pressure sensor 3P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground.

YES
|

Repair short in the wire between the DPF differential pressure sensor and ECM connector No. 1 terminal No. 43, then go to
Step 17
.
