Brake Booster Replacement
LHD Type
  1. Remove the engine wire harness bracket (A).
  1. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose (A) from the brake booster (B).
  1. Remove the lock pin (A) and the joint pin (B).
  1. Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (C).
  1. Pull the brake booster (A) forward.
    • Be careful not to damage the booster surfaces and threads of the booster stud bolts during reassembly.
    • Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines or other components hoses and liens.
  1. Move the brake booster to upward with turning, and remove the engine compartment.
  1. Install the brake booster in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
