DTC Troubleshooting: P16A7 (139), P16A8 (139), P16A9 (139), P16AA (139)
DTC P16A7:
 No. 1 Cylinder IQA Data Error
DTC P16A8:
 No. 2 Cylinder IQA Data Error
DTC P16A9:
 No. 3 Cylinder IQA Data Error
DTC P16AA:
 No. 4 Cylinder IQA Data Error
NOTE:
  1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
  1. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC P16A7, P16A8, P16A9, and/or P16AA indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 4 .
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■
  1. Note the IQA letters on the top of the injectors.
  1. Check the IQA DATA STATUS in the ADJUSTMENT menu with the HDS.
Does the IQA data coincide with the IQA letters?
YES -
Update the ECM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good ECM, then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good ECM, replace the original ECM. ■
NO -
  1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  1. Reset the ECM with the HDS.
  1. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC P16A7, P16A8, P16A9, and/or P16AA indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 1 and recheck.
NO -
Troubleshooting is complete. If any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.■
