DTC P0563:
ECM Power Source Circuit High Voltage

Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Check the BATTERY in the DATA LIST with the HDS.

Is there about 18.2 V or more?
|

Check the battery voltage with a circuit tester.
|
Is there about 18.2 V or more?
|
|
YES
|

Replace the battery, then go to
Step 6
.

|

Start the engine.
-
Check the BATTERY in the DATA LIST with the HDS.
|
Is there about 18.2 V or more?
|
|
YES
|
-
|
|
|
NO
|
-
|
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■
|

Reset the ECM with the HDS.
-
Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs with the HDS.
|
YES
|
-
|
Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the ECM, then go to
Step 1
.

NO
|

|
Troubleshooting is complete. If any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.■

Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs with the HDS.
|
YES
|

NO
|

|
If the ECM was updated, troubleshooting is complete. If the ECM was substituted,
replace the original ECM.
If any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.■
