DTC P0193:
FRP Sensor Circuit High Voltage

Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Check the FRP SENSOR in the DATA LIST with the HDS.

Is about 4.75 V or higher indicated?
|

YES
|

NO
|

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the FRP sensor and the ECM.■
|
-
Turn the ignition switch OFF, and wait 2 minutes.
-
Disconnect the FRP sensor 3P connector.
-
Connect FRP sensor 3P connector terminals No. 2 and No. 3 with a jumper wire.
-
Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Check the FRP SENSOR in the DATA LIST with the HDS.

Is about 4.75 V or higher indicated?

Remove the jumper wire from the FRP sensor 3P connector.
