DTC P0183:
Fuel Temperature Sensor Circuit High Voltage

Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Check the FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR in the DATA LIST with the HDS.

Is about 4.95 V or higher indicated?

YES
|

NO
|

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the fuel temperature sensor and the ECM.■
|

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor 2P connector.
-
Connect fuel temperature sensor 2P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with a jumper wire.
-
Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
-
Check the FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR in the DATA LIST with the HDS.

Is about 4.95 V or higher indicated?

Remove the jumper wire from the fuel temperature sensor 2P connector.
