Measure the clearance between the select arm (A) and interlock (B) with a feeler gauge (C). If the clearance is more than the service limit, go to
Step 2

Standard:
0.05−0.25 mm (0.002−0.010 in.)
Service Limit:
0.5 mm (0.020 in.)
Measure the width of the select arm.
If the width is not within the standard, replace the select arm.
If the width is within the standard, replace the interlock.
