Warm up the engine.

Remove the maintenance lid.

Remove the drain bolt (A), and drain the engine oil.

Reinstall the drain bolt with a new washer (B).

Refill the engine with the recommended oil.

Capacity

At Oil Change:

5.5 L (5.8 US qt, 4.8 Imp qt)

At Oil Change including Filter:

5.9 L (6.2 US qt, 5.2 Imp qt)

After Engine Overhaul:

6.8 L (7.2 US qt, 6.0 Imp qt)

Run the engine for more than 3 minutes, then check for oil leakage.
