Transmission Mount Replacement
  1. Loosen the upper torque rod mounting bolt (A).
  1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery first, then disconnect the positive cable.
  1. Remove the battery.
  1. Remove the battery base, then remove the battery base bracket.
  1. Raise the hoist to full height.
  1. Remove the engine undercover.
  1. Loosen the lower torque rod mounting bolt (A).
  1. Lower the vehicle on the hoist.
  1. Support the transmission with a jack and wood block under the transmission.
  1. Remove the transmission mount (A).
  1. Install the transmission mount with the new mounting bolts (B).
  1. Tighten the new transmission mount mounting bolt and nuts (C).
  1. Raise the hoist to full height.
  1. Tighten the lower torque rod mounting bolt.
  1. Install the engine undercover.
  1. Lower the vehicle on the hoist.
  1. Tighten the upper torque rod mounting bolt.
  1. Install the battery base bracket, then install the battery base.
  1. Install the battery. Clean the battery posts and cable terminals with sandpaper, then assemble them, and apply grease to prevent corrosion.
  1. Set the clock.
