Remove the cylinder head cover.

Hold the intake camshaft with an open-end wrench, then loosen the camshaft gear mounting bolt.

Remove the camshafts.

Remove the intake camshaft gear.

Install the intake camshaft gear.

Install the camshafts.

Apply new engine oil to the threads and flange of the intake camshaft gear mounting bolt, and install it. Hold the intake camshaft with an open-end wrench, then tighten the bolt.

Specified Torque:

10 x 1.25 mm

78 N·m (8.0 kgf·m, 58 lbf·ft)

Install the cylinder head cover.
