M/T Shift Arm Clearance Inspection
  1. Measure the clearance between the shift arm (A) and shift piece (B) with a feeler gauge (C). If the clearance exceeds the service limit, for to Step 2 .
    Standard:
    0.20−0.61 mm (0.008−0.024 in.)
    Service Limit:
    0.7 mm (0.028 in.)

  1. Remove the special bolt (A) and spring washer (B).
    • If the diameter is not within the standard, replace the shift piece.
    • If the diameter is within the standard, replace the shift arm.
    Standard:
    16.00−16.20 mm (0.630−0.638 in.)
