i-SHIFT Clutch Actuator/TCM Removal/Installation

NOTE:
-
Write down the frequencies for the radio's preset buttons. Disconnect the negative (−) cable first, then the positive (+) cable from the battery. Remove the battery.

Remove the harness clip (A) and resonator chamber stay bolts (B) then remove the battery base (C).

Remove the resonator chamber.

Remove the bolts (A) from the slave cylinder (B) so as not to bend the clutch line.
|
|

Remove the clutch reservoir tank (A) from the reservoir tank stay (B), then remove the reservoir tube from the clips.
NOTE:
-
Do not spill brake fluid from the reservoir tank.

When remove the reservoir tank, fix the reservoir tank by hand.

Release the lock and remove the clutch actuator connector (A) from its harness bracket (B). Disconnect the clutch actuator connector and the ground cable (C).

Remove the engine harness cover (A) and the harness clip (B).
|
|
-
Remove the harness clip (A). Disconnect the change actuator connector (B).

Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.

Remove the engine undercover.
|
|

Loosen the bolts (A), then remove the clutch actuator (B) with the clutch pipe comp (C) and the clutch fluid tube assembly (D).

Install the clutch actuator in the reverse order of removal.

Test-drive the vehicle.
-
Enter the anti-theft code for the audio and set the clock.
