Engine Oil Pan Removal
If the engine is already out of the vehicle, go to
Step 12
.
Remove the drive belt (with A/C).
Remove the A/C condenser fan shroud (with A/C).
Disconnect the A/C compressor clutch connector, then remove the harness clamp. Remove the A/C compressor without disconnecting the A/C hoses (with A/C).
Raise the vehicle on the hoist to full height.
Remove the engine undercover.
Drain the engine oil.
Remove exhaust pipe A.
Support the oil pan with a jack.
Remove the lower torque rod.
Remove a jack.
Remove the oil level sensor cover (A), then disconnect the oil level sensor connector (B).
Remove the two bolts (C) securing the harness holder.
Remove the lower torque rod bracket.
Remove the A/C compressor bracket.
Remove the clutch cover (A), and remove the two bolts securing the transmission.
Remove the bolts securing the oil pan.
Using a flat blade screwdriver, separate the oil pan from the block in the places shown.
Remove the oil pan.
