Engine Oil Pan Removal

  1. If the engine is already out of the vehicle, go to Step 12 .
  1. Remove the A/C condenser fan shroud (with A/C).
  1. Raise the vehicle on the hoist to full height.
  1. Support the oil pan with a jack.
  1. Remove a jack.
  1. Remove the oil level sensor cover (A), then disconnect the oil level sensor connector (B).
  1. Remove the two bolts (C) securing the harness holder.

  1. Remove the lower torque rod bracket.

  1. Remove the A/C compressor bracket.

  1. Remove the clutch cover (A), and remove the two bolts securing the transmission.
  1. Remove the bolts securing the oil pan.

  1. Using a flat blade screwdriver, separate the oil pan from the block in the places shown.
  1. Remove the oil pan.
