Crankshaft Pulley Removal and Installation

Special Tools Required
Removal
  1. Remove the right front wheel.
  1. Hold the pulley with the handle (A) and holder (B).
  1. Remove the bolt with a 19 mm socket (C) and breaker bar, then remove the crankshaft pulley.

Installation
  1. Clean the crankshaft pulley (A), crankshaft (B), bolt (C), and washer (D). Lubricate with new engine oil as shown.

  1. Install the crankshaft pulley, and hold the pulley with the handle (A) and holder (B).
  1. Tighten the bolt to 69 N·m (7.0 kgf·m, 51 lbf·ft) with a torque wrench and 19 mm socket (C). Do not use an impact wrench.
  1. Tighten the pulley bolt an additional 90 °.
  1. Install the right front wheel.
