Side Sill Outer Panel Installation
  1. Cut the new outer panel (repair part) to align it with the body.
  1. Install the center pillar outer separator (A) on the center pillar lower stiffener (B).
    NOTE: Apply the sealer (C) all the way around the separator inside of the rear side outer repair part (D) without gaps.
  1. Clamp the new outer panel (repair part), and check the body dimensions.
  1. Temporarily install the door, hood, and front fender, and then check for differences in level and clearance. Make sure the body lines flow smoothly. Check the operation of the door.
  1. Do the main welding. Attach the patch (A) at the cut section (B) of the side sill outer repair part (C), rear side outer repair part (D), and plug weld them.
