Front Pillar Outer Panel Installation

Install the new front pillar inner separator (A) on the inside of the front pillar lower stiffener (B).
NOTE: Apply the sealer (C) all the way around the separator inner lower (D) without gaps.

Set the new front pillar lower stiffener, and tack weld it into position.

Cut the new outer panel (repair part) to align it with the body.

Clamp the new outer panel, and check the body dimensions.

Temporarily install the windshield, door, hood, and front fender, then check for differences in level and clearance. Make sure the body lines flow smoothly.

Remove the new outer panel, and weld the front pillar lower stiffener (A) to the upper stiffener (B) and side sill stiffener (C).

Install the new front pillar outer separator (A) on the front pillar lower stiffener (B).
NOTE: Apply the sealer (C) all the way around the separator inside of the outer panel (D) without gaps.

Clamp the new outer panel, and recheck the clearance and alignment of the door, front fender, and windshield.

Do the main welding. Attach the patch (A) at the cut section (B) of the front pillar and side sill outer panel (C), and weld them.
