DTC Troubleshooting: B1002
DTC B1002:
 MICU EEPROM Error
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1002 indicated?
YES -
Faulty MICU; replace the under-dash fuse/relay box.■
NO -
Intermittent failure, the MICU is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections. If the connections are good, check the battery condition and the charging system.■
